Here are some snapshots of the first day of Milan design week. Decided to start off with tortona district as it was the closest to my apartment in romolo.

First must see location every year, Superstudio Piu. Bumped into my friend Juan who was exhibiting there. His company digital habits makes automated lifestyle speakers that let's u change songs and volume settings on your iphone with simple waving gestures. Cool stuff!

Always nice to see a familiar face.

The Tokyo designers week was located along tortona and so I decided to check it out. Managed to get in as press and was treated to a sumptuous lunch made by Japanese sushi chefs. Definitely the highlight of the day for me!
